Presenting papers on hardware security of emerging nonvolatile memories

UNL is pioneering research on emerging nonvolatile memory devices in the hardware security aspect. Our student, Nhu, who recently earned an MS degree in Advanced Materials Engineering and joined the Electrical Engineering doctoral program at UTSA, will present her work on hardware security of emerging nonvolatile memories in the Applied Electronics conference (September 2021, held online). Dr. Ahn was also invited to give an oral seminar, focusing on metal-oxide RRAM and its vulnerability to physical attacks in the MNE (Micro and Nano Engineering) conference held in Italy (September 2021). Despite the challenging time due to COVID-19, UNL is making significant progress in advancing the knowledge in hardware security of emerging nonvolatile memories. Congratulations on both achievements!
